La última canción se sitúa en una ciudad costera del sur de E.E.U.U, donde un padre separado va a pasar el verano con su hija. El padre trata de volver a llevarse bien con su hija a través de la música. Es una historia de familia, amistad, secretos, segundas y primeros amores. Ronnie se enamorará durante las vacaciones de un chico llamado Will. Dicha película se estrena el 4 de junio en España (el 31 de marzo en E.E.U.U).
